Construction Documents

If you are planning to build a home you will need construction documents. These include the necessary “blueprints” to build the home. The local governing building department will require these before they issue you a building permit. Each building departments requirements will differ as to what detail needs to be provided. We will work with your local building department to provide the detail they require. If the detail they require is beyond our scope of work we will notify you of this and possibly work with a third party to accommodate the need. An example of this may be Structural Engineering requirements.

Home Concept Design

If you are just in the early phases of designing your home or project and have no need for construction documents, we can design preliminary floor layouts and elevation concepts so you can present ideas for clients, future buyers, investors or your builder.

Drafting Services

Drafting services may include site plans, additional changes to existing plans and typical drafting services.

Sun Study and Massing

Using exact locations, structure orientations and building element heights we can create a precise layout to study how the sun will react with your home. We can use this information to design your home ( a term referred to as “passive solar design“) to take advantage of the warm winter sun and eliminate mid summer direct rays. Creating a sun efficient home, lowering the energy costs throughout the year.

3D Rendering and Modeling

We can create realistic 3D renderings of your home. We can also create a computerized 3D model of your home that you can interact with as you please. Download the 3D viewer to play with and manipulate your 3D model.

Site Planning

Your new home involves more than just the structure. You are active, you enjoy the outdoors and want to extend your living space beyond the walls. We walk the building site taking in every view and every aspect of the land layout. Implementing every hardscape we plan for comfortable outdoor living.
