I have decided to start this blog giving insight into the custom home design process. I will try to keep this up to date and present ideas to help those down the home design road. By the way I am Brandon Ellett (“the kid” as referenced here in this blog) I have been drafting and designing homes professionally for six years. I am a huge fan of hands on learning, and I love what I do. I have designed over five hundred homes for builders and owners. I have built two homes of my own and have worked with many different trades on other homes.
I love technology and try to leverage it the best I can for my clients and my business.
I travel as often as time allows soaking in the local design trends, styles and techniques trying to broaden my views so I don’t get stuck in a design rut. I am an outdoor enthusiast and try to bring energy conservation into play while designing and sketching new plans.
